Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Catalyst Works collects, why, and who helps us process it. It covers this website, catalystworks.consulting. We keep it short and plain on purpose, and we only describe what we actually do.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you give it to us through a signup form, a workshop registration, or a message.
- Payment information, when you buy something. This is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.
- Anything you type into the on-site diagnostic tool, along with an anonymized (hashed) version of your IP address, so the tool can run and so we can keep it working.
- Basic usage data, such as pages visited and general location, collected through standard website analytics and advertising pixels.
Why we collect it
To send you what you asked for, such as a newsletter, a workshop confirmation, or a reply. To process a payment you chose to make. To run the diagnostic tool on the site. And to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site so we can improve it.
Who processes your data
We use a small set of trusted third parties to run this site. Each one only receives what it needs for its job.
- Stripe processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
- Beehiiv stores our email list and sends our newsletter and updates.
- Meta (Facebook) provides the advertising pixel we use to measure and improve our ads.
- Google Analytics gives us aggregate website traffic data.
- Supabase stores submissions from the on-site diagnostic tool.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles data.
Cookies and pixels
This site uses cookies and pixels for analytics and advertising, including the Meta advertising pixel and Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may work differently if you do.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not trade it or rent it to anyone. We share it only with the processors listed above, and only so they can do the job we hired them for.
How to see or remove your data
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email hello@catalystworks.consulting and we will take care of it. You can also unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of that email.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here.
