Half a day a week. One working session, and I am reachable in between. For an owner who needs judgment more than hands: is this tool worth it, is this vendor real, do we build this or buy it, is this the year to touch it at all.
month to month
Most owners feel like they have to use AI right now. I help you take a breath and get clear on whether you even need it, where it fits, and how to make it work. When advice is not enough, I take the seat and run it myself.
A day of my week, inside your business.
Not a deck, and not a strategy phase that ends with a PDF and an invoice. I pick the thing that is costing you the most, build what fixes it, and sit next to the person who has to run it after I leave the room.
Some weeks that means choosing a tool and wiring it into how you already work. Some weeks it means telling you to leave AI out of it, because a checklist and one changed handoff would do the same job for free. You will never pay me to bolt AI onto a problem that did not need it.
Owners of businesses with a team the work runs through, roughly ten to fifty people, with no operations or IT function to hand this to. If you are a one person shop, this is the wrong page. There has to be a team for the work to run through.
Most retainers are built to grow. This one is built to shrink.
I am not trying to become the person you cannot operate without. That is a bad deal for you and a fragile business for me. Your people end up running this, and my time on your calendar goes down every quarter until you drop a tier, hand it to somebody permanent, or tell me we are done.
Hours run high while we are building and taper once the thing runs. That is why the tiers step down instead of the invoice staying flat forever.
I am putting the numbers on the page so you can work out whether this is even in range before you spend twenty minutes on a call with me.
A sliding scale, and where you land is about how many days a week you need me. Not how many deliverables I can promise.
Half a day a week. One working session, and I am reachable in between. For an owner who needs judgment more than hands: is this tool worth it, is this vendor real, do we build this or buy it, is this the year to touch it at all.
A full day in your business, every week. I take work off your plate, not just opinions off my chest. I build the thing, I train the person who inherits it, and you can point at something that works at the end of the month. This is the one I would put you in unless you tell me otherwise.
I own it. I run the function, choose the tools, train your people, and build toward handing it to someone permanent. For a business in the middle of something big enough that half measures cost more than the fee.
A person in this seat full time is a fixed cost. Salary, then benefits and payroll taxes on top of it, which is commonly put at somewhere near 1.4 times the salary once you add everything up. Then the months before they are useful. Then the severance conversation if it does not work. Then the headcount you have to justify before any of it can start.
This is a variable cost. You turn it up during a build, down once it runs, and off when you are done. No headcount to approve, no ramp, no benefits, no severance. That is the trade, and it is a different shape of cost rather than a discount on the same one.
You should be able to tell whether this was worth it before the second invoice.
A wall of client logos. I am early in this, and I would rather you hear that from me than work it out on your own.
What I can show you is the thing I run my own business on. A system I built myself that finds my leads, drafts my work, and tells me every morning what to do first. Not a demo and not a screenshot. The actual thing, live, on the call, with the rough edges still in it.
I have already crossed the bridge everyone is still talking about. That is the proof I have today. If it is not enough for you, I would rather you pass now than be disappointed in month three.
A handful at a time. That is arithmetic and not a sales line: at a day a week each, I run out of week. When I am full I will tell you I am full, and I will tell you roughly when that changes.
Start with the five day audit instead. Fixed scope, fixed price, and you walk away with the written map whether or not we ever work together again. See the audit.
Twenty minutes, no deck. You describe what is stuck, I tell you whether this is a fit and roughly which tier it would be. If I am not the right person for it, I will say so on the call.
