Fig. 01 What you take home
What you build
You build all three yourself, on your own machine, while I am standing there. They are yours afterwards and they do not stop working when the evening does.
- A file that knows your business You write down once what you sell, who buys it, and what you charge. Paste that in and every answer you get after that is about your business, instead of some business that does not exist.
- A second opinion you can argue with Hand it the thing you have been chewing on for a month. A price you are scared to raise. A hire. A job you are not sure you want. Three different points of view go at it in front of you, and then one of them calls it.
- A check on your own plans Point it at something you are about to spend money on and it strips out the parts that are only there because they look clever.
You also take home the recipes and a cheat sheet built to print.
All three run on your own machine and nothing you type leaves it. Halfway through the evening I pull the wifi down and everything carries on working. I would rather show you that than promise it.

Try one first
You should not have to take my word for any of this. One of the three is already on this site, cut down to a single prompt that runs in about five minutes. Nothing to enter and nothing to buy.
Fig. 03 Who the evening is for
Whether this is you
- Owners and operators of small businesses. Most of the room still answers its own phone.
- No technical skill needed. If you can use email you can do everything in this session. The group is kept small on purpose, so your own questions get answered out loud and nobody gets left behind.
- Bring a laptop. That is the whole list. Nothing to set up beforehand.
- Sessions run in person. If you are too far out to sit in the room, email me and I will tell you what I can do from here.
Not this evening, if what you want is somebody to build it for you and hand it over finished. That is real work and I am glad to do it. It is a different conversation, so email me and we will start there instead.
Fig. 04 What it actually costs you
The real price
The price of the seat is the small part of this. The real cost is a Thursday evening and a drive to Sandy, and you should weigh that one honestly before you book.
So here is the trade. Each of these three takes about ten minutes to rebuild once you have watched it done. What you are paying for is the ninety minutes where somebody who already built them the wrong way first is standing next to you the first time you do it.

When it runs
Seats are paid. The price posts here with the next date. You will also get the short letter I send out, and one click takes you off it.
You are on the list
The next date lands in your inbox the day I set it.
In the meantime, here is one of the three. It is the decision tool from the workshop cut down to a single prompt, and it runs in about five minutes: the five-minute second opinion.
