Catalyst Works Consulting

What I do, in one page.

A sample of the work, for anyone curious whether it might be useful.

I help operators sharpen the surfaces where their business gets judged before anyone talks to them. The LinkedIn profile that decides whether a buyer DMs you. The website headline that decides whether they stay 6 seconds or 30. The About page that turns a referral into a call.

The motion is small and direct. I read the surface. I pick the worst-pulling part. I rewrite one specific thing and tell you why. No three-option menus. No 40-slide audit deck. One finding, one fix, the reasoning behind both.

A sample, with the names changed

A B2B logistics SaaS founder I worked with had a headline that sounded like every other founder on the platform, and an About section that closed with the softest possible ask. Two surfaces, both costing him connect-to-conversation rate.

Finding 1 · the headline

before
Founder | Building the future of freight | Ex-Big-4 | Investor
after
I cut 3-day load-tendering cycles down to 4 hours for mid-market 3PLs. Without ripping out their TMS.

Finding 2 · the About CTA (last paragraph)

before
Always open to interesting conversations. Reach out if you want to connect.
after
If you run a 3PL doing $20M-$100M in revenue and your dispatchers still rekey loads from email into your TMS, send me a message with the word AUDIT. I will send you a 1-page breakdown of where the friction is costing you margin. No pitch attached.

Why these two, not five. The headline is the line the most people read, by an order of magnitude. The About CTA is the line that converts a curious scroll into a real conversation. Fix those two and the rest of the profile starts pulling its weight. Touching every section at once is how audits become wallpaper.

Why this rewrite, not three options. Conviction is the work. Giving a founder three rewrites makes them the editor of their own profile, which is the exact job they hired you to do. Pick one. Stand on it. If they push back, you have a real conversation about what they actually believe.

The same motion travels across industries. The surface I read changes (LinkedIn for a coach, a product page for a SaaS founder, a service grid for a contractor). The bones do not. Read the worst part. Name the pattern. Rewrite one line. Cite the principle. Move.

How to work together

If something on this page made you think about a specific surface of your own business that has been quietly underperforming, that is the right reason to reach out. Email boubacar@catalystworks.consulting or message me on LinkedIn with the one surface you want a second pair of eyes on. I will reply within a working day. I reply, that's the loop. Nothing else fires unless you ask.
